These are the kinds of messages I’ve been bombarding my dear friend Jake with ever since he divulged on Facebook that he’s opening for Lovitz in DC this weekend. I am truly supportive of my friends’ accomplishments.
But seriously, he’ll do great.
If only someone responsible could tell me to stop scarfing these Cooler Ranch Doritos and go to bed…

YES. This is one of my favorite things in comedy ever. I think I own The Wedding Singer on DVD just for this moment. Also, can I just say that I think Jon Lovitz is one of the most under-rated SNL alums ever? But what do I know? I’m just someone who would tape episodes of The Critic when she was 10.
