I live in New York. I am a comedian, writer and actor. My day job is blogging for VH1.com. I write about the silly things celebrities and pop stars do, so you know...God's work.

You may have seen my writing on many other reputable websites (The Huffington Post, Hello Giggles, xojane.com, The Hairpin, Splitsider, The FW, etc.). I also write crazy blogs about Game of Thrones, Magneto and Jeff Goldblum.

I don't want to talk about anything with you except Star Trek Into Darkness.

I'm Not Nadia.: My Clara theories

laughterkey:

I think she is one of three things:

Jack’s daughter

Rose & Tentwo’s daughter (who is also potentially Susan? I can’t remember the reason behind that part, I’ll come back to it later)

The little girl who runs/is the library in The Silence In the Library….

Allow me to Clara-fy*: My theory is specifically that she’s the Red Riding Hood to Rose’s Bad Wolf. Either Rose or some other force has scattered her in time to draw the Doctor’s attention to some big bad (just like “Bad Wolf” was scattered).

*IT’S BEEN A DAY

I just plopped.  I don’t really know what that made-up word means, but I’m pretty sure it applies here.

NOW KISS.

It seems like Steven Moffat has been trying to channel a bit of Russell T Davies in his era of late. If you took Rose or Partners in Crime and added in a dash of Sherlock you have a pretty good idea of what to expect from The Bells of Saint John.

Doctor Who Announces All-Star Cast for 50th Anniversary

The BBC has today revealed some of the all-star cast that will mark the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who.  David Tennant and Billie Piper will join current Doctor and companion, Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman, while John Hurt (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Alien, Harry Potter) will also co-star.

Last seen as the Doctor on January 1st 2010, this will be the first time Tennant has reprised his role as the Tenth Doctor.  During his reign as the Time Lord, Tennant appeared in three series as well as several specials.  He was first revealed as the Doctor in the 2005 series finale, ‘The Parting of the Ways’.

Meanwhile Billie Piper, who played companion Rose Tyler for two series following the reboot in 2005, will appear in the show for the first time since featuring in Tennant’s last episode, ‘The End of Time’ in 2010.

Also confirmed to join the cast is John Hurt who will also co-star in the 3D anniversary special that will form part of blockbuster celebrations, set to take over the BBC.  Produced by BBC Cymru Wales for BBC One, the 50th anniversary will be written by Steven Moffat and Directed by Nick Hurran.

Filming for the 50th anniversary starts this week.  Meanwhile a brand new series starts on BBC One (30 Mar, 6:15pm), BBC America (March 30, 8/7c), SPACE Channel (March 30, 8e/5p), and ABCTV (March 31, 7.30p) this weekend for a run of eight epic episodes, which officially introduces the Doctor’s newest companion, Clara Oswald, played by Jenna-Louise Coleman.

I’M WALKING AROUND IN A CIRCLE RIGHT NOW BECAUSE, FEELINGS.

I’m taking this as a sign that my theory (that Clara is the Red Riding Hood to Rose’s Bad Wolf) might be true.

But….is it going to be past 10 and Rose in the special or 10.5 and Alt-Torchwood Rose????

FEELINGS!!!!!

I’m doomed. Fandom will kill me.

Just finished a list of the “Hottest Doctor Who Companions” for VH1.com that will run tomorrow and it’s really weird because it’s a mix of people with great personalities and people who don’t wear a lot of clothes on the show and people with faces I like and a mix of all three because I’m a heterosexual female and I think Wendy Padbury’s pretty, but who am I to rank Clara/Martha/Amy/Rose vs. the dudes and ugh…

The Bells of St. John

I maintain the only logical theory I have for Clara is she is Red Riding Hood to Rose’s Bad Wolf. She’s scattered through time as a clue to something bigger, but she’s innocent to it.
That said, logic and Steven Moffat have never, ever been close friends.

I just want a single series of Doctor Who where he and his companions only travel to great parties throughout history and protect drunk historic people from monsters—while drinking.
