Fast Forward
I’m very happy and very thankful for the awesome life I lead, but every once in a while, I wish I could fast forward a bit and be like 5 years or 10 years or 50 years older.
Like, lately, I just want to be old already. I want to own a weird cottage by a huge body of water. I want to spend all day in my craft shed making jewelry and making owls out of macrame. I just want to be with my birds. I don’t own birds and I don’t like birds, but right now I have a huge desire to be with my birds.

This may be covered by saudade. Like a lot of cool things the concept of saudade is covered in Dinosaur comics (number 2129). Anyhoo, Brazil on January the 30th is a good place to be for this.
